Job Summary

  • Implements, maintains, and customizes software packages specific to the industry we are in.
  • Provides technical and functional support in the areas of: ERP systems administration, problem resolution, support, process mapping, system testing and development, security access, and training.

Essential Functions

  • Develop procedures to ensure integrity of ERP system and databases;
  • Ensure that external/internal regulations and policies governing data management are met, including regulations concerning security, audit and privacy;
  • Troubleshoot application software and database problems on a timely basis;
  • Maintain liaison with business and technical staff and extended support organizations for resolution of ERP and database problems;
  • Work with end-users to analyze, design, construct and implement small applications in support of regular business operations; document applications and provide cross-functional training as needed;
  • Assist, analyze, plan and implement data conversion of existing data into new ERP system
  • Coordinate the design and testing of application/database system upgrades with users and technical staff;
  • Prepare test plans and evaluate test results for application implementations, modifications or upgrades;
  • Develop training materials for end users;
  • Maintains confidentiality of information exposed to in the course of business regarding business heads and employees

Position Description:

Basic Function: The chief financial officer position is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results. Principal accountabilities are:

Planning

  • Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
  • Develop financial and tax strategies
  • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes
  • Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction

Operations

  • Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
  • Maintain in-depth relations with all members of the management team
  • Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, legal, tax, and treasury departments
  • Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations
  • Manage any third parties to which functions have been outsourced
  • Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems
  • Implement operational best practices
  • Oversee employee benefit plans, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package
  • Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions

Financial Information

  • Oversee the issuance of financial information
  • Personally review and approve all Form 8-K, 10-K, and 10-Q filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission
  • Report financial results to the board of directors

Risk Management

  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile
  • Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry
  • Construct and monitor reliable control systems
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  • Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors
  • Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

Funding

  • Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
  • Arrange for debt and equity financing
  • Invest funds
  • Invest pension funds

Third Parties

  • Participate in conference calls with the investment community
  • Maintain banking relationships
  • Represent the company with investment bankers and investors

Desired Qualifications: The candidate chief financial officer should have a master’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation or in a Government Company. Should have experience in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

Additional Qualifications: If the company has extensive overseas operations, it may also be necessary to include a language requirement. If the company is a small one, then the chief financial officer may also take on the role of the controller.

Working Conditions: Will work in an office environment. Extensive travel to company subsidiaries will be necessary, as well as for investor road shows.

Position Description:

Accountant will obtain financial data for use in maintaining accounting records and performs bookkeeping functions and provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts. They also prepare financial statements and assist the Accounting department.

Accountant Job Purpose:

To improve the efficiency and maximize the profitability of an organization. Their skills are in demand in a wide range of sectors.

Accountant Job Duties:

  • With at least 2 to 5years’ experience in field of accounting/auditing.
  • Can work under pressure.
  • Willing to work long hours
  • Full Cycle Bookkeeping
  • Prepare supporting documentation and post journal entries to books of account
  • Compile reports required by management and other governmental agencies
  • Prepare vouchers, invoices, account statements, reports and other documents
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and/or accounts payable to general ledger accounts
  • Manage all aspects of Accounts Payable, from Accounts Payable Voucher to Check Voucher
  • Accounts Payable will encompass the processing of all accounts payable transactions including bills, credit card charges and bills, ensuring accuracy of each bill and proper classification.
  • Handling all payroll information, including inputting timesheets
  • Communicate with managers, supervisors, co-workers, and others, maintains confidentiality
  • To do other task as assigned by immediate superior.
