Regional Sales Manager Job Purpose: Sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base; managing staff.

Regional Sales Manager Job Duties:

Accomplishes regional sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.

Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.

Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.

Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.

Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.

Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Sales Representative: Application Chemist

PHILAB Industries, Inc., is a diversified scientific and research enabler with a newly formed private equity investment arm, focused on creating change in people’s lives through significant innovations not just in the areas of Scientific Product Lines, Design and Consultancy and, Construction but also in the areas of Secured Printing, Genomics, Rail Transport and Telecommunication.

Position Description: As an Application Chemist you will support both our customers and our sales force in a variety of ways. This position will require both laboratory and field testing in support of our products and treatment programs. You will be responsible for conducting many different tests ranging from routine analytical testing to support of our product development projects. To accomplish these tasks, you will need a solid understanding of proper laboratory testing techniques and safety guidelines.

Skills & Qualification

Minimum Bachelors of Science in Chemistry (Analytical)

Knowledge in Analytical instrument such as: GC,HPLC,UV-VIS and other analytical equipment.

Dynamic,pro-active, team player & aggressive.

Advantage if knows how to run or operate an HPLC or GL instruments

Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory environment as a product formulation chemist or R&D chemist preferably working with oilfield chemical products.

Willing to travel to field and do field work, travel may be as much as 50%

Must have “can do attitude”, willing to work in an entrepreneurial environment.

Successful candidate will receive tools and training to advance rapidly and learn from industry experts.
