The Company operates in a highly-specialized industry that caters to the scientific, education, health and research sectors with diverse needs for equipment, product and instrumentation but that cuts across a wide range of sectors.

Through the years, the Company has consistently sought to understand and meet the needs of its customers. It has maintained long-term relationships with government agencies such as DAR, DepEd and DOH, and both public and private research and educational institutions such as IRRI and UP. The company also has a comprehensive list of private sector clients including major institutional accounts such as San Miguel Corporation, Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, Inc., Universal Robina Corporation and Nestle Philippines, Inc.

Many of these clients purchase large quantities of laboratory equipment, products and educational supplies on a regular basis, enabling the Company to generate a stable revenue stream and high profit margins.

The Company is able to provide both standard and highly specialized laboratory equipment and supplies such as, but not limited to Original Equipment Manufacturer (“OEM”) products, autoclaves, glass beads sterilizer, thermal cycler, microscopes, glassware washer, separation and analyzing instruments that serve the needs of its many customers in the industry particularly, in the healthcare, medical and education industries. For the medical sector, the Company sells hospital beds, bone cutters, operating lights, tools and measuring machines to a growing number of government hospitals and clinics. The Company has also set up its reagents and diagnostic machines such as hematology analyzers in a number of government and private clinics.

The Company also cost-effectively diversified its product line by adding science and mathematics teaching kits. These science and mathematics teaching kits include, but not limited to rulers, compass, magnet cloves, anemometer and other scientific instruments and educational equipment used in schools. The Company has provided these science and mathematics teaching kits to over 500 public elementary schools all over the country through its contract with DepEd in 2013. On the basis of that project, the Company was awarded the contract to provide 34,000 elementary public schools in the Philippines with science and mathematics teaching kits.

Through the years, the Company boasts of several research and scientific spaces it has helped build, design or equip. Its first clients include the Rockefeller & Bill Gates funded IRRI Laboratory and University of the Philippines, National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. In 2013, the Company became a silver member of Green Building Council, a non-stock, non-profit organization that promotes the sharing of knowledge on green building practices to the industry to ensure a sustainable environment. The Company also acquired a regular and special Philippine Construction Accreditation Board (PCAB) license in 2015, which enables it to take on science and research-centric construction projects while maintaining focus on its core areas.

The Company also has a proven track record of introducing new technologies to the local market. For example, the Company was the first to introduce HIV/STD test kits into the Philippine market. It has since then adapted a line of in vitro self-testing immunochromatography rapid diagnostic kits.

The Company has also effectively leveraged its marketing clout to have international suppliers adapt products for the local market. For example, the iClave is sterilization equipment developed specifically for the Philippine market prioritizing sturdiness and user-friendliness that is cost-efficiently manufactured in China.

The Company has proven that it has the commitment and capability to acquire cutting edge global technologies for the benefit of the country. In 2013, Genomic Institute of Asia (GINA) launched the first domestic testing of breast cancer mutations, BRCA 1 and BRCA 2, prevalent in Filipino women. Since GINA is a non-profit organization, these tests were offered for free and GINA’s findings were used to detect the probability of breast cancer in volunteer women. GINA’s findings became a rich databank for breast cancer research on Filipino women and will be useful in future cancer research.
